About the role
As our Cloud Integration Specialist, you will be required to smoothly transition our clients from their current accounting software package(s) into Xero. You will work one-on-one with our clients, learning their technical and business requirements and provide them a personalised Cloud based solution. You will leverage your technical expertise to implement Cloud integration solutions that enhance productivity, efficiency and business effectiveness. You must be proficient in accounting, be technically savvy and have extensive experience in Xero and Xero Add On programmes.

The successful applicant for this role will:
·Have extensive experience in Xero
·Have thorough understanding and experience of project management methodologies and techniques for successfully implementing software
·Have experience with successfully implementing Cloud Add On’s to Xero
·Have an understanding of cloud environments and technologies in the accounting sector
·Have a successful track record of providing tooling and support for multiple cloud software
·Have the ability to adapt and learn in a fast-paced environment
·Have a thirst for innovation with drive, energy, passion, integrity and insight, and possess a natural curiosity and desire to learn more.
·Have extensive business and strategy planning expertise
·Possess an organised, analytical mind with solid problem solving skills, including strong emotional intelligence skills.
·Have excellent written, presentation, and verbal communication skills, including demonstrated experience presenting technology recommendations from a business perspective
·Have excellent analytical skills and time management skills
·Must be able to travel throughout Auckland and New Zealand as required
• Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Accountancy, Management Information Systems, or a related field
• At least four (4) years of experience with Xero and Xero Add Ons
• At least two (2) years external or internal consulting background with regular and direct customer interaction
